In 1941 the caps factory J.P Mol NV build a new factory in the Speelhuislaan. The office on the street side was built in the style of the ‘Delftse School’. They built a large factory behind the office. In 1983 the site was bought by the firm Klavers-Jansens. They tore down the site to a large extent and the factory was exchanged in a steel shed barn. The barn is now used by the cultural institution Podium Bloos.
Brothers Rob and Barry van Dijck together form the graphic design studio Staynice. Their work is characterized by the playful combination of information, illustration and typography. Experiments on their own RISO printer often serve as inspiration for commercial projects for international clients. Yet they remain true to their roots and regular take up spray cans for murals.
