In 1970, artist Pieter Laurens Mol painted his work ‘Publicity for the Mind’ on the facade of his studio at the Spoorstraat in Breda. Unfortunately the words ‘All Happens Inside’ have disappeared over the years. Inspired by Mol’s work, Vincent de Boer created a tribute to the artist.
47 years later the words are back at the Spoorstraat, as part of a special diptych that was created by Vincent and his brother Guido. According to Vincent the words ‘All Happens Inside’ have a double meaning. Is it about what’s going on inside the building or what’s happening inside your head?
Vincent de Boer (NL) is a typographer, co-founder of design studio Studio Airport, founder of former creative design lab Kapitaal and like his brother Guido he’s part of the typographic collective High on Type.
