For the fourth year, creatives from the Netherlands and Belgium shared their portfolio with us. From 170 submissions, the jury came up with five talents who will start working on our talent programme in the coming months.
Mans Weghost, Iris van den Bersselaar, Ivo Jans, Leyli Rashidirauf and Jori van Boxtel are the five selected talents. The jury, consisting of Robert Jan Lechner (Open Call 2023), Linda van der Vleuten (co-founder Opperclaes) and Dennis Elbers (founder Blind Walls Gallery), looked at originality, experience, diversity of style and motivation.
The talents start the journey by creating a mural at PLOEGENDIENST FESTIVAL, inspired by the synergy between music and nature. Later in the year, they will organise a solo exhibition in our Gallery and release a print. In each part, they are coached by artists and designers Ilse Weisfelt, Joren Joshua, Zenk One, Bruce TMC and Marloes de Kiewit.
