Stedelijk Museum Breda

Drawing competition

The Stedelijk Museum Breda initiated a project for the young and old in which the museum invited people to color. People could choose three different coloring pictures designed by illustrators Fred de Heij, Hedof and Mandy Peeters. The pictures are based on the print ‘The Treaty of Breda’ by Romeijn de Hooghe from 1667. A professional jury, including Dennis Elbers of the Blind Walls Gallery and a children’s jury selected three winners out of the more than hundred entries.

And the winner is…

Tyrza colored the picture made by Hedof during the Toddler festival. Her picture is chosen to be made into a mural in one the museum walls. You can visit the mural and the winning pictures in the I.S.M Breda space in the museum till August 13th.

Please note that this work is located indoors and can only be visited during the opening hours of Stedelijk Museum Breda

A collaboration with Vrede van Brede and Stedelijk Museum Breda
