Take a closer look…

…or miss out on these tiny, hardworking sanitation workers who are busy cleaning up the graffiti in the alley between the Ginnekenstraat and the Molsparking. This painting was so well hidden that our own guide couldn’t even find it.

Yellow men and women

Jaune’s work, which can be found on many walls in Europe and abroad, consists of small, humorous garbagemen and workmen in fluorescent safety clothing. The idea for his stencil art arose during the time Jaune himself worked as a sanitation worker. He noticed that he seemed to be invisible to other people, despite wearing fluorescent clothing.

Jaune’s work can be found all over the world! His small, hardworking garbage men and woman are almost invisible – until you see them!

Jaune incorporates (m)any elements he finds on the street into his art: pipelines, traffic signs, roadside objects…. All perfect hangout spots for these mini dudes.
