A village of small garbage men

Late November 2018 an invasion of miniature sanitation workers took place in our city. They even built their own mini-village. These funny characters are the work of street artist Jaune (BE), in collaboration with Vroom & Varossieau we invited him to come to Breda.

Invisible workersJaune’s work, which can be found on many walls in Europe and abroad, consists of small, humorous garbagemen and workmen in fluorescent safety clothingThe idea for his stencil art arose during the time Jaune himself worked as a sanitation worker. He noticed that he seemed to be invisible to other people, despite wearing fluorescent clothing.

Jaune’s work can be found all over the world! His small, hardworking garbage men and woman are almost invisible – until you see them!

Jaune incorporates (m)any elements he finds on the street into his art: pipelines, traffic signs, roadside objects…. All perfect hangout spots for these mini dudes.
