This mural, located in the ‘Driesprong’ neighbourhood, is a collaboration between WonenBreburg and the guys of Staynice, which was a welcome surprise for the local residents.

Driesprong

The design was based on the neighbourhood’s name. Driesprong translates too ‘three jumps’, hence the 1, 2, and 3. The iron pipes refer to bike shop Peter van den Broek, which is where the mural is painted on.

Staynice is a graphic design studio owned by brothers Rob and Barry van Dijck. Their work is characterised by a playful combination of information, illustration and typography. Experiments on their own RISO printer often serve as inspiration for commercial projects for international clients. Yet they remain true to their roots and regularly pick up spray cans for murals.
