Longest BWG mural

Staynice have created the longest Blind Walls mural so far. The sweet shapes that stretch across the tunnels were inspired by the (partly disappeared) confectionery industry in Breda. The wasteland that once was the CSM site is one of the last memories of this industry.

Sweet dimension

The mural contains shapes of floating candy papers, candybars and black and yellow colours that refer to NAC, a Dutch professional football club located at this road. When the wind blows in the right direction, the Perfetti Van Melle factory down the street adds a sweet dimension to the painting.

Staynice is a graphic design studio owned by brothers Rob and Barry van Dijck. Their work is characterised by a playful combination of information, illustration and typography. Experiments on their own RISO printer often serve as inspiration for commercial projects for international clients. Yet they remain true to their roots and regularly pick up spray cans for murals.
