Zenk One

On Thursday 28 September a new exhibition will open in our Gallery. This time with work by Breda illustrator Zenk One! For this exhibition called ‘Homerun’ he was inspired by objects, patterns and shapes, mostly from his own interior. The playing field of his work for this exhibition is infinitely large. Zenk One (Robin Nas) works with various materials, second-hand objects and plays with shape and colour. Together with his partner Anne he has translated the designs into new interior items for the home… for a new home.

Zenk One has several Blind Walls to his name, with the most recent mural ‘De Brandwacht’ in the Blushuis. He makes illustrations, murals and paintings. His work can be recognised by the flowing, ‘realistic’ line drawings with a graphic touch. Sometimes Robin combines this style with photorealistic elements made with a spray can, the tool with which it all started years ago.
