2022

With this Blind Wall, Ge Smit honours the art school St. Joost in Breda, which has provided a lot of creativity in the city. At St. Joost there are and were many colorful figures who do surprising and creative things with posters, images, designs, poems and murals in the city.

The Blind Wall, which consists of wooden panels, features a total of eight artists. It includes a portrait of one of the world’s leading vjs, Michelle van Mil. Kees Zwart, who set up the first graphic design agency in Breda, is also depicted. The internationally known lingerie designer Marlies Dekkers also shines on the Molsparking.

Behind this Blind Wall is the old St. Joost Chapel, where the art school based it’s name on.
