In collaboration with local sock brand That Sockss we’re launching limited-edition socks inspired by one of our Blind Walls!
The design of the socks is inspired by the Blind Wall in the Bleekstraat by Portuguese artist AKAcorleone (Pedro Campiche). Because of its size, bright colours and access to Breda’s main shopping street, it’s one of the most popular selfie-spots in the city. The colours and sleek shapes could be perfectly adjusted to a sock-design. The design is a colourful commentary on today’s contemporary consumer society.
It’s a funny contrast that we’re selling a pair of socks inspired by a mural with this theme. Thus the proceeds don’t server a commercial goal, but will go towards the creation of new Blind Walls!
