On 21 August 2022, the Vuelta passed through and past Breda. It became a 100-day celebration in which the bicycle was the main focus. To create a lasting memory of this event, illustrator and artist Daan Botlek made this mural.

A peloton of cyclists can be seen on both sides of the tunnel, with colours inspired by the different jerseys awarded during the Vuelta.
