Powers processed his conversations with residents and passersby in his mural, as a love letter to the city. Stephen ESPO Powers did this during the first Koningsdag (Kings day) with ‘orange fever’ at its best. Koninginnedag (Queen’s day) is history, but according to Powers every day is ‘Queensday’ with a daily ode to all women.
