This mural is part of Reskate’s Harreman series, which focuses on interaction and hidden layers in visual communication.
In this series of paintings, they aim to strengthen the relationship between artwork and audience through light-sensitive paint. Under normal light, the work shows a recognizable image, but thanks to UV light, a second, hidden layer is revealed.
In doing so, they explore themes such as duality, perception, and the influence of context on meaning. Harreman, Basque for “relationship” or “interaction,” emphasizes how images change depending on time, light, and perspective.
