Tours
The city as a canvas, a mirror and a battleground.
Our cities are held together by rules, advertising, and raw expression. Billboards, overpasses, shutters and street furniture bear the traces of those who shape the city. During BWFF, we tear off the top layer to examine it closely.
An illegal work evolves into cultural heritage. An iconic mural disappears behind a mountain of regulations. An old advertisement is repainted out of nostalgia. What can be seen on the street constantly changes in meaning. What’s illegal today could be in a museum tomorrow. Who decides what remains visible and what gets erased?
Five years of Blind Walls Film Fest: Bigger. Bolder. More layered.
BWFF goes beyond the silver screen. Not a static festival, but an explosion of disciplines:
- Talks with experts about power, censorship, and the struggle for public space.
- Exhibitions where the boundary between film and physical space dissolves.
- Workshops in which you transform from a spectator into a creator.
- And for the first time… Live Music?! This year we are adding a brand-new dimension to the experience…
More soon…
Behind the scenes we are working hard on a program filled with international premieres, performances, and stunning installations…
