The days are getting longer, the temperatures are rising, and that can only mean one thing: swimming trunks on and skippy balls! Okay, that’s two things. And they turned out to be part of a little April Fool’s joke on our Instagram. What is not a joke, however, is that the Blind Walls Gallery tour season has officially started! From now on, you can join us on an exploration of the countless murals that transform Breda into a museum.
During our tours, experienced guides take you through the stories behind the murals and their creators. Each painting has a unique connection to the city and its rich history, making the tours an inspiring and surprising experience for both visitors and locals.
Walking tours start April 12th on (most) Saturdays at 14:00, and cycling tours monthly on Sundays at 11:15.
There are various types of tours available. On weekends, we offer regular walking and cycling tours at fixed times, which you can sign up for. However, you can also book a private “custom tour” for groups of five or more! This way, you and your group can explore the murals whenever and wherever you like. And we weren’t joking about the importance of variety—new this year are several themed tours! Soon, you can even join a tour linked to our brand-new exhibition STRAAT KUNST MUSEUM at Stedelijk Museum Breda! Whether it’s your first time or you’re a returning visitor, there’s always something new to discover. Our city walks and street art tours offer a unique opportunity to experience Breda in an interactive and creative way.
