Each year, a different artist paints this wall in the foyer of the small auditorium, using the theater as inspiration for the design. The first painting was done in 2022 by Erosie. His work did not completely disappear under a new layer of paint, but was given a reprise in the dressing rooms of the center hall.
For this mural, Otto Baum created a special tool that allowed him to paint the large surface independently. Perfection is not his goal. Structure and brushwork are clearly visible and together form a dynamic and monumental pattern.
