Hanneke Treffers (1981) is known as an artist under the name Handiedan. During her photography studies at the St. Joost art academy, she developed a strong interest in Photoshop. Through creative live competitions like Cut ‘n Paste, she honed her distinctive collage skills.

Today, she combines digital and analog processes in her paste-ups—both on a miniature scale and on building-sized walls. Unfortunately, wallpaper paste and paper don’t hold up well against the elements, making her public works highly temporary.

Given the theme and the museum setting, this exhibition was the perfect opportunity for Blind Walls Gallery to collaborate with Handiedan.
