Joren Joshua

Artists generally receive commissions based on previously completed work. Clients don’t like big surprises or experiments. At Blind Walls Gallery, we select artists based on proven quality, and we also encourage their artistic ambitions. It’s great if our collaboration can help them take the next step.

For this mural, Joren Joshua chose a different approach. Part of the composition is only roughly sketched. This creates more focus within the composition and helps the viewer navigate through the work. It also provides a separation between the different times and stories incorporated in the mural.
