Super A is Stefan Thelen’s anti-superhero identity. Stefan uses traditional painting techniques and a knack for design to create compositions that manipulate familiar iconography into mind-bending and inquisitive pieces. The murals of Super A are often metaphoric scenarios rendered with hyperrealism. His work consists of realistic (fantasy) images combined with subtle, but remorseless critique on social or political issues.
